Memorandum of Cooperation between SSST University and INZA Agency for Risk Management
On the occasion of the United Nations Disaster Risk Reduction Day, a Memorandum of Cooperation between the University of Sarajevo School of Science and Technology and the INZA Agency for Risk Management was signed today in Sarajevo.
Through the cooperation planned in the memorandum, the partners will act with the common goal of reducing the risk of natural and other disasters, which, unfortunately, have become the norm in the last few decades both in our country and throughout the world.
The memorandum, among other things, envisages teaming up on scientific and research projects, joint realization of professional education programs and improvement of academic cooperation, respecting the mandates and capacities of the two institutions.
Thematic areas that will be the focus of cooperation include adaptation to climate change, better risk management, and strengthening the readiness of all sectors of society to deal with the consequences of natural and other disasters.
SSST University is one of the leading institutions of higher education in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Southeast Europe, and offers internationally accredited academic programs in a range of fields, from medicine to computer science.
INZA Agency for Risk Management is part of INZA Group, which is a regional leader in the aforementioned field. The group operates through offices in three countries of the region (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro) and realizes projects of a high degree of complexity for clients around the world.
