Another successfully implemented project is behind us .  INZA Institute for Risk Management and Scientific Research Belgrade implemented the Study of Integrated System for identification, analysis and evaluation of risk on critical electricity distribution Infrastructure. All that in within a given period of twelve months.

An important Study was conducted at the request of JP  “Elektroprivreda Srbije”, because in the entire power system (EES) of Serbia, the distribution power network has the lowest reliability. First of all, because of the wide distribution and sensitivity, but also because of the reliability of the operation of the electricity distribution system, which is inversely proportional to the age of the elements, which in some places are over forty years old. By acquiring data from different aspects, we additionally assessed the levels of different risks that affect the operation but the reliability of the operation of the electricity distribution system. The exemplary goals were:

1.  Protect critical electricity distribution infrastructure from natural and technical-technological disasters and reduce the risk of disasters caused by climate change.

2. Establish interactive solutions for preventive risk management and irregular actions.

3. Establish an integrated protection system.

In the Study we analyzed, processed and made proposals for coordinated planning action of republic institutions, local self-government institutions as well as the Electric Power Industry Service due to critical situations. We gave assessments and proposals for strengthening human and material-technical capacity. For example, we took the total interruption of the city’s electricity supply, which occurred in December 2016 in Majdanpek.

 

We have identified, collected, classified and analyzed all the risks to which each DS is exposed and have therefore classified it into two major groups:

a) Group of risks that are originally technical in nature and relate to the reliability of equipment and plant elements, as well as the training and qualifications of employees.

b) Group of general security risks that are originally related to the possibility of human-induced or natural events.

During the work on this project, we applied 35 kV and 20 kV recording, made 3D models of statements and entered the data into the GIS database.

We recorded the following excerpts:

a) 35 kV „Toponica“ u TS 110/35 kV „Niš 1“ – DP Niš;

b) 20 kV „Padina“ u TS 110/20 kV „Debeljača“ – DP Novi Sad.

c) 35 kV „Rudno“ u TS 110/35 kV „Raška“ – DP Kraljevo.

d) 35 kV „Boleč“ (Grocka) – DP Beograd.

e) 35 kV „Bratinac (Sirakovo)“ u TS 110/35 kV „Požarevac“ – DP Kragujevac.
