Risk management

Risk management is the identification, assessment, prioritization, coordination, and cost-effective allocation of resources to minimize, monitor, and control the possibility or impact of adverse events and maximize the achievement of expected success. Risk management is approached methodically so that all significant activities are identified, and all risks arising from or related to these activities are identified and categorized.
