The third international conference for regional cooperation titled "Building Protection in the 21st Century" was held from 26th to 28th October 2017 at Hotel Mediteran in Bečići, Budva.

The conference brought together professionals from the field of occupational safety from Serbia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Albania, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as representatives of the International Labor Organization and the Occupational Health and Safety Institute from Great Britain.

The conference was also attended by the representatives of INZA Institute led by director Edin Garaplija, who in his speech presented the integrated protection and rescue system for the construction of the highway in Montenegro - Risk mapping with emphasis on protection and health at work.

- The Bar-Boljare highway route is a trans-European highway and it is under the watchful eye of the International Community. This means that in addition to the legitimacy and legislation of Montenegro, certain international rules are set. We need to ensure that everything goes in the best possible way with less harmful impacts on people and the environment - said Garaplija.

This conference is recognized as one of the largest in the region in the field of health and safety at work. Therefore, it represents the organizer's continuous aspiration towards new knowledge and changes primarily in culture of this field.
