We were founded in 1968 as a community of organizations working in the area of fire protection and protection at work, and during our existence we have repeatedly changed our legal status in accordance with socio-political planning. At the beginning of the 80s, we gained a scientific and research character and the name “INZA Institute” which we have successfully maintained to this day. At the beginning of the 1990s, we gathered about one hundred of the largest expert authorities in the field of protection, but in the war events of 1992-1996. we experienced human and material devastation, as well as most of the companies affected by war destruction.
Until the start of privatization, INZA has survived with about ten employees and the value of annual contracts is approx. 50,000 euros. In the period 2007-2010, privatization and transition of 100 percent of state capital to private ownership was carried out, which was characterized as the most successful in the Sarajevo Canton and during which were employed 50 new, mostly young and highly educated staff.
The total investment in the new INZA was about two million euros. Completely renovated laboratories and administration buildings and the most up-to-date laboratory and other equipment were purchased. Along with the investment, the process of business strengthening of INZA has also developed, which has grown financially in the last 10 years by 2000%, and today under the brand name “INZA GROUP” operates successfully on the markets of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro.
